Welcome to my website; you may spend a little time here to find out who I am, see what I’ve done, or learn about what to expect from your class with me. The Class List section contains each syllabus from my current classes. Please contact me if you have any questions. I believe that art is the emancipator of the spirit. The exposure to visual art, music, theatre and dance opens the mind, motivates the body and enlivens the soul. Art is contemporaneous, acting as a tether, allowing us to hold on to the established successes and failures of the art of the past while reaching toward the unknown creations of the future. In art we may embody our imagination, our understanding of beauty, and our desire to express who and what we are, and in that we may view our world with a perception which only develops from having obtained the freedom of the spirit. I trust that during the semester with me you may discover a new freedom through dance! |
