Also, most department stores like Sears, Targets or strip mall discount stores carry lycra or spandex type of fitness wear that works for dance. Whatever you choose needs to fit and show the body and I would prefer BLACK leotards, flesh tone tights and jazz or stretch pants.

Men: ask store personnel about athletic supporters, some type of athletic underwear found anywhere, or dance belts (found only in dancewear stores).
